Changes...

So, once again I have abandoned my blog for way too long...and I've had quite a few major life changes along the way.

First off, an update on this blog. As a journalism major in college, it was highly suggested we start one, for many reasons. So, without any real direction or good ideas, I did. And I still have no idea where this thing is headed. I feel like my life is all over the place right now, and I am sure this blog is going to reflect it for awhile. I hope that through covering lots of subjects, I'll find something that I really feel passionate about and find a focus and direction. So, this should be an interesting journey!

Now, my life! Where to start? I have moved away from Athens..one of the hardest things I have ever done. I am so in love with that place and all the people in my life there. But, school was over, my job hunt was not successful in Athens, and I could no longer really justify living there while working a dead-end job. So here I am, at home again. I never thought I would be back here at almost 25 years old. But I am. And I know that there is a reason for this part of my journey, and that in due time God will show me what it is..I just have to be patient. I'm working at a new restaurant in Atlanta (hoping to make connections!) and still job hunting. I have a 'special someone' in my life, and I couldn't be happier about that! Except that I had to leave him behind in Athens...I've never done this long distance thing before, and so far it's not been terrible. Other than the fact that I miss seeing him every day. But again, I know there is a reason for all of this, and I'm excited to see where my life is heading!

Wee Bit Wednesday

Hi lovelies!
Today has been EXHAUSTING and I haven't even done that much other than go to work. I'm just so tired all the time...I'm blaming it on the allergies! ...and the stress that comes with the end of the semester. Is anyone else having this problem??
On a much better, happier note...today is ONE MONTH AWAY from my college graduation!! AHHH! Which means crunch time. I feel like I have a million things left to do between now and the last day of class. But you know what I want to do more than anything every day after class instead of homework [besides sleep]?? Go to the pool! Because this weather has been amazing!! It makes it so hard to get anything accomplished. So, it's time to buckle down and just get it done, because in four short weeks, it's all going to be over!

{one} have you ever fainted?sort of. it was right after giving blood...i was iron-deficient at the time...and i managed to get the nurses attention right before completely passing out!
{two} what is your favorite casino game?i've never actually played cards in a real casino, and i have no idea what i'd play!

E-Essential start to your day: Usually coffee, and something yummy for breakfast. Breakfast is probably my favorite meal of them all. And a shower...I don't function properly till I've showered.

F-Favorite Color: Hmmm...I don't have just one favorite. Right now I'm loving everything summer. Hot pink, chartreuse, teal, coral -- the brighter the better!

G-Gold or Silver: Usually silver, but gold is growing on me.

H-Height: 5'2.

I-Instruments you play: Nothing...I'm musically challenged. But I wish I did play SOMETHING!

J-Job title: Full-time student, part-time Lowe's cashier!

K-Kids: None!!

L-Live: Athens, Georgia...there's no place else quite like it!

M-My mom's name: Sandy.

N-Nickname: Porkchop (when i was little), Court Dawg (thanks, Sam!), and several more!

O-Overnight hospital stay: Never for me, thank goodness!

P-Pet Peeve: There's plenty I have...people that drive slow in the left lane, people who don't realize they're not the only person on the planet, and lying.

Q-Quote from a movie: Doug: "It's funny, 'cause just the other day, me and my boy, we was wonderin' why they even call 'em roofies. Y'know what I'm talkin' 'bout?"

Stu: "No. Don't know what you're talkin' 'bout."
Doug: Why not floories, right? 'Cause when you take 'em, you're more likely to end up on the floor than the roof. What about groundies? That's a good new name fo' 'em.

T-Time you wake up: Depends on the day...sometimes I have to be at work as early as 5am, so I get up aruond 4:15, or class usually starts at 9:30 so I get up around 7:30.

U-Underwear: Victoria's Secret Pink, always!

V-Veggies you dislike: All of them...yes, I'm serious.

W-What makes you run late: Everything. I procrastinate and get distracted way too easily, so I usually scramble around at the last minute, run out the door, and forget something. :/

X-Xrays you've had: Quite a few...fingers and toes, neck to hip ones by the chiropractor, and my nose when I broke it.

Y-Yummy food you make: I can actually cook pretty decently, even though I hate cooking for just myself. But I love grilling or cooking chicken.
